Job Description
- Responsible for Ship-board system
- Communicate and discuss with supervisors/ technicians on work execution
- Rectify and trouble-shooting of the machinery and equipment
- Responsible and coordinate all aspects of site issues for repair
- Resolve any technical problems or issues with owner/yard
- Monitor job progress and ensure quality work to meet Project Milestone
- Evaluate technical and engineering requirements of the jobs
- Prepare reports on job status and project completion
- Conduct Risk Assessment and hazard reporting
- Attend VSCC Meeting, progress meeting, production meeting etc
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or related fields
- Preferably with 2-5 years’ working experience in a shipyard or heavy industry
- Knowledge in Ship Repairs and Conversions projects will be advantageous
- Able to work in outdoor environment – Grease and Dust
- Willing to do hands-on using tools such as Spanner, Wrenches and Callipers
- Resourceful, committed, independent and a good team player
